Bentz is the authorized aftermarket provider of add-on sleeper cabs for International Severe Service Trucks. Two models are offereda 36 flat roof sleeper cab and a 48 flat roof sleeper cab.
Developed in conjunction with International engineering and marketing, these add-on sleeper cabs feature a rugged welded 6061 aluminum extrusion frame with welded 5052 aluminum formed structural members and Huck riveted and bonded 5052 aluminum skin panels. Aluminum bulkhead style exit and cargo doors with stainless steel hinges add to the durability of these OEM-caliber sleeper cabs.
A 35 x 54 cab entry opening utilizes a flexible and durable convoluted rubber boot between the cab and sleeper. The cab entry opening features a welded aluminum cab entry ring assembly that is installed using stainless steel fasteners, rivnuts and adhesive. The cab entry opening also features a lower horizontal structural crossmember. The cab entry opening was tested to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) 207/210 occupant restraint mount and seat mount pull tests. In addition, the cab entry opening was tested to SAE J2422 Cab Roof Strength Evaluation specifications.
Matching tan interior vinyl is used and matching exterior base coat/clear coat paint is standard.
All flat roof sleeper cabs meet minimum D.O.T. dimensional requirements for a sleeper berth.
